Systems psychodynamic approach, developed in London and nowadays used in the USA and many other countries, ties, in a unique way, an understanding of systems and feelings. It teaches us how to think about organisations in a way that brings together the two important aspects of work – rational and emotional, to become more productive. We develop an understanding of how and why the systems have been designed in a certain way. By tackling not just the systems, but also the emotions, we can bring about lasting changes.
Don’t wait for the change to happen to you. Book now to discover a new world of holistic leadership and become the change you want to see!
Why is it helpful to learn the systems psychodynamic approach to leadership?

About me
I am a senior clinical leader in an NHS trust. My career took me to different countries.
In my 16 years of leadership work, I’ve encountered numerous situations where groups or managers behaved in surprising ways, or made decisions that didn’t make sense. Yet giving people logical arguments didn't seem to always work.
I also experienced working in some difficult cultures. Yet in other organisations, things felt really good and productive.
The systems psychodynamic approach helped me make sense of the 'illogical' situations by adding (sometimes suppressed) emotions into the picture. The systems psychodynamic approach explains why some organisations seem to function better. It helps us discover how to become a well functioning organisation, by looking at the whole picture of systems + emotions.
